From a respective UK repeat client, Lagendijk received recently a crane order for the manufacturing of a customized Lagendijk Electric/ Hydraulic Offshore Subsea Crane, type LKB 1200 – 3000 AHC. This crane is suited to execute subsea works at a depth of 3.000 meter below sea level. Lifting capacities vary from SWL 10 tons @ 3000 meter water depth with AHC up to SWL 14.5 tons @ 20 meter and SWL 40 tons @ 10 meter in a Sea State 4. The scheduled delivery of the crane is in the Spring or 2015.

Lagendijk Equipment proudly announces to have received the order for the construction of 8 pieces Lagendijk Telescopic Boom Cranes, type LHC 11.0/20.0 – 14. This type marine deck crane will be used for Damen Shipyard’s RoRo 5612 vessels and is executed with 2 hydraulic extensions booms. The crane is well suited for all general purpose applications in a marine harsh environment with dynamic lifting capacities of SWL 7.5 tons @ an outreach between 3.5 and 20 meter and a maximum lifting capacity of 26.6 tons @ 11.0 meter.

Both cranes are designed taking into account the special conditions of a marine application: harsh environment, dynamic load conditions, excessive side loads and stresses exposed to the crane during operation. Applied lifting capacities are SWL 6.0 tons @ 23 meter according to DNV design code No 2.22 including but not limited to MOPS, AOPS and CTS. Lagendijk manufactured a customized heavy duty marine A-frame of an telescopic boom closed box type with a lifting capacity of SWL 15 tons @ 2.5 meter and SWL 7.5 tons @ 4.0 meter. The A-frame has been delivered with a combined load independent control valve block for a proportional control of the tilting and extension cylinders. The A-frame is well suited for all general purpose applications in an offshore environment up to a Sea State 5.

Commissioning of a repeat order from Maritiem Cluster Friesland – Netherlands for the delivery of a Telescopic Knuckle Boom Crane, type LKB 310 T3, on board the new build shallow draft support vessel The basis for this repeat order was a similar knuckle boom crane previously delivered to the end user – the leading workboat operator Acta Marine - on board of shallow draft support vessel “Coastal Challenger”. Each crane is designed for handling loads in shallow waters up to 60 meter below surface. The knuckle boom is executed with 3 hydraulic extendable booms creating a dynamic lifting capacity of SWL 45.0 tons @ 5.0 meter and SWL 10.0 tons @ 20.0 meter. The pedestal of the crane is fully according to Bureau Veritas Class requirements.

Shipyard De Hoop – Netherlands orders at Lagendijk 1 Electric / Hydraulic Offshore Crane, type LKB 600 – 500. The crane is suited to execute works in a harsh marine environment and can take the following loads: SWL 20.0 tons @ 10.0 meter (Sea State 4), SWL 12.5 tons @ 16.0 meter (Sea State 4), SWL 5.0 tons @ 21,5 meter (Sea State 4) and SWL 1.5 tons @ 21,5 meter (with man-riding). The crane has an integrated 110kW HPU inside the column of the crane. The crane will be operated from an operators cabin with an ergonomic seat and all functional readouts of the crane at the operators display. The crane classification is according to Bureau Veritas lifting appliances. The expecting delivery period will be April 2014.

Lagendijk Equipment proudly reports to have arranged delivery of 2 Subsea Knuckle Boom Cranes, type LKB 13.0 / 20.0 – 17.5 that have been ordered by a respective UK - Offshore Clientfor installation aboard of end user Edison Chouest new built offshore vessels in Brazil.Each crane has a lifting capacity of SWL 17.5 tons @ 20.0 meter in a Sea State 4 environment and is equipped with a 500 meter drum layer for reliable lifting of loads below surface. The 25 tonsintegrated winch has been designed, produced, certified and tested at our Lagendijk's fully equipped workshop. The certification is according to ABS class requirements and both cranes will be delivered with separate 132kW hydraulic power packs with starter cabinet. From date of order until in-house load testing on own test plant Lagendijk's experienced team has finished engineering and construction works of both identical crane projects in less than 8 months.

GDF Suez EP Netherlands ordered for the L10-E Well Protector Platform in the North Sea a Lagendijk Diesel Hydraulic Fixed Boom Offshore Platform Crane, type LHC 10.0 / 20.0 – 11.5 / 5 Ex. This crane type can be operated independently from any platform power supply with its own diesel-hydraulic driven power unit and has a SWL of 11.5 tons @ 10.0 meter (platform lift) and at Sea State 4 (offshore lift) aSWL 8.0 tons @ 10.0 meter and SWL 5.0 tons @ 20.0 meter.Other special requirements were a full Ex. operation and design according to Lloyd's register of shipping foroffshore cranes (CLAME), version 2009 NEN 13852-1:2004. Supervisory services for erection, installation, commissioning and start-up as well as operators training are supplied by Lagendijk's offshore team.Scheduled delivery will take place early 2014.

Gardline Geosciences - UK contacted Lagendijk for a special request for the design, engineering and construction of a hydraulic extendable A-frame.Lagendijk took part in this special project and developed a A 5.5 (9.0) / 2.5 (4.0) -15 (7.5) Hydraulic Telescopic A-frame that can take SWL 7.5 tons @ 4.0 meter (fully extended) and SWL 15.0 tons @ 2.5 meter(fully retracted) according the rules of Germanischer Lloyd's. Delivery will be including a 2x 55 kW hydraulic power unit with remote start/ stop cabinet. The expecting period of handing over the project will be November 2013.

Lagendijk has finished the realization of an advanced in house testing facility, consisting out of a steel pedestal fitted in worksite flooring with a 2700 mm topflange on top, which is supported by 12 concrete pillars underneath, each 23 meter in length and an additional 150Ton of concrete. With this new testing foundation cranes can be thoroughly tested up to 1.300mt full load, prior to delivery, during FAT and under realistic operating conditions to assure ideal performance on the job.

This new testing facility allow short installation and commissioning times. Marine, offshore and harbor cranes can from now on be load-tested at the company's own facilities.

A deep sea fishery company had given order for the refurbishment of a Karmoy Net Stacker Crane with SWL 5.0 tons @ 12.0 meter lifting capacity. The crane will be completely stripped, sandblastedand repainted in a 3 layer Hempel coating. All major hydraulic components will be checked, measured and where necessaryoverhauled or renewed. All piping, hydraulic hoses and couplings will be renewed in a stainless steel execution. The crane shall be assembled at Lagendijk's machine factory and delivered back to her owner around September in the port of Vlissingen – Netherlands.

Subsea infrastructure services provider N-Sea – Netherlands has given order for the construction of a new dive bell handling system with existing specialized diving components. This modular containerized system is suited to take SWL 15.0 tons load at a maximum of 100 meter working depth below surface and can be operated in a Sea State 3 harsh marine environment . An integrated trolley system can move the 3 man diving bell directly in front of a decompression chamber. Complete system is according to Lloyd's certification and production has been scheduled to startApril 2013.
